The Valga Rural Municipality Government announces a public competition for the position of Director of Lüllemäe Basic School.

We are looking for a leader for Lüllemäe Primary School who dares to dream and implement change. Lüllemäe Primary School is a strong rural school in Valga County, where in the coming years, 100 pupils will study at the school and approximately 50 children will attend kindergarten.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • the qualification requirements for a primary and secondary school principal as stipulated in paragraphs 1 and 3 of section 2 of the minister of education and research decree no. 30 of 29 August 2013 „Qualification Requirements for Head Teachers, Deputy Head Teachers, Teachers and Support Specialists”; 
  • previous management experience; 
  • Work experience in the education sector within the last five years (work experience as a teacher and the professional qualification of senior teacher would be an asset);
  • knowledge of modern learning approaches and the principles of a learning organisation, experience in implementing these within an organisation; 
  • Resilience, ability to cope with stress and setbacks, good oral and written communication skills, ability to work systematically, responsibility, accuracy, and excellent teamwork skills.; 
  • to observe, motivate, listen to and, if necessary, advise team members;
  • establishing and maintaining good relations and cooperation with various partners; 
  • Readiness to write and implement projects (experience is an advantage).
