Election results in Valga municipality

Valga Municipal Council elections were held on 19 October 2025. 

6040 voters took part in the vote, and 6005 votes were counted (35 invalid votes). Voting turnout was 51.1% out of a total of 11 825 eligible voters in the municipality. Home voting was used on 48 occasions. During the early voting period, 1947 voters went to the polls and 2163 voters voted electronically. 

Valga Municipal Council has 25 members. The mandates were distributed as follows: 

  • The electoral coalition Our Valga for and approved 5 mandates;
  • Estonian Reform Party 3 mandates;
  • ISAMAA Party 5 mandates;
  • Social Democratic Party 5 mandates;
  • EKRE - Estonian Conservative People's Party 3 mandates, and
  • Estonian Centre Party 4 mandates. 

The electoral threshold of 5% was not exceeded by the electoral coalition MEIE VALGA and the single candidate.
