Valga Municipality is looking for a dedicated and motivated traffic and roads specialist!
Your role is to...
..design and maintain the road network and traffic management of the municipality. As a result of your work, people move more smoothly and safely.
Your main duties will be to:
- organising the maintenance of roads and streets (design, construction, reconstruction and maintenance of road works);
- traffic management, parking and transport;
- maintaining and developing a road register.
We welcome you if:
- You have a university degree or technical vocational training;
- You have at least three years' experience in a similar job or profession;
- you are familiar with the organisation of road works and the principles of public procurement;
- you are familiar with the relevant legislation;
- have knowledge of local government;
- have a communicative knowledge of Russian and English, and be able to use specialist vocabulary;
- you are a good communicator, analytical thinker and responsible decision-maker;
- value teamwork;
- You have a category B driving licence.
