Valga Parish is calling for nominations for the Mother of the Year competition. The title of Mother of the Year is awarded to a mother who has given her children love, care, an example, and teachings.
The "Mother of the Year" title is awarded to a mother who is a good parent, acting as a role model in raising children. The candidate must be a citizen of the Republic of Estonia and their place of residence, according to the Estonian Population Register, must be in Valga municipality.
Nominations for the Mother of the Year award can be submitted until 28th April 2026.
Proposals for the award can be submitted in writing by e-mail to. valga@valga.ee or by sending a paper copy to Valga municipality, Puiestee 8, Valga town, Valga municipality, 68203 Valga county. It is also possible to bring the application in person to the municipality.

The presentation of the award will take place at a formal gathering on 10th May at 4 pm at the Tsirguliina Community Centre.
