Project No: RE.4.09.24-0310
Name of the project: Acquisition of sorting stations for general education schools in Valga municipality
Support measure: Separate collection solutions for waste from general education schools
Application round: Circular economy programme
Implementing unit: SA Environmental Investment Centre
Project summary: The sorting stations aim to enhance and promote separate collection of waste in general education schools. The sorting stations are planned to collect 4 types of waste: bio-waste, mixed packaging, waste paper and cardboard and mixed municipal waste. As waste is part of our everyday lives, children need to be taught that it is possible to reuse waste if it is collected separately. Children's habits need to be shaped so that they are aware that separate collection of waste does not only have to take place at home, but also in other public spaces, including schools.
