Project summary: In the educational institutions of Valga municipality, in Valga Basic School, Tsirguliina, Hargla and Lüllemäe schools, the implementation of inclusive education measures is ensured by improving accessibility and modernising the learning environment. In all of these schools, plus the Valga Music School, learning resources will be upgraded to comply with the principles of inclusive education.
As a result of the project, an important step forward has been taken in fulfilling the requirements of inclusive education in Valga municipality schools and recreational schools.
The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of educational institutions and recreational schools in Valga municipality to implement the principles of inclusive education.
As a result of the project there are 4 general education schools in Valga municipality with modernised infrastructure, and modernised teaching equipment in recreational schools. The schools are prepared to organise their main activities according to the principles of inclusive education and in a modernised learning environment to support the participation of people with special needs in mainstream learning and recreational activities.
- accessibility to and within the building has been improved in Valga Primary School, Tsirguliina, Hargla and Lüllemäe schools;
- learning and teaching aids have been modernised in Valga Basic School, Tsirguliina, Hargla and Lüllemäe schools and Valga Music School;
- furniture and equipment have been upgraded in Valga Primary School, Hargla and Lüllemäe schools to improve the inclusive learning environment;
- spatial and constructional adaptations have been made in Valga Basic School, Tsirguliina, Hargla and Lüllemäe schools.
PROJECT BUDGET:
- Total eligible project costs: EUR 140 097,64
- Total support: EUR 118 051,00
- including a contribution from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 97 218,47 and a national contribution 20 832,53
- Self-financing: EUR 22 046,64
