Finding out the opinion of the residents of Valga municipality 20.04-03.05.2026

The Valga Rural Municipality Government is conducting a survey to ascertain the opinions of Valga Rural Municipality residents regarding the special spatial plan for the Valga Rural Municipality wind farm. The survey will be carried out electronically and at designated survey points. The questions asked concern general attitudes towards the development of renewable energy and specifically towards the planning of the Valga Rural Municipality wind farm. Answering the questions will take approximately 10-15 minutes. The results of the survey will be advisory to the rural municipality council when making a decision on the adoption of the special spatial plan for the Valga Rural Municipality wind farm.

Electronic survey will take place from 20.04.2026 at 10.00 until 03.05.2026 at 23.59. The survey is published on the website of Valga municipality. www.valga.ee in the self-service environment SPOKU. 

At the polling stations to express your opinion by completing a paper survey form in the following locations and at the following times:

Tsirguliina Community Centre (Tehase 4, Tsirguliina Village) 

  • 22.04.2026 15:00-19:00
  • 25.04.2026 at 12:00-16:00

At the Õru Service Centre (Kooli St 2, Õru village)

  • 29.04.2026 from 15:00 to 19:00
  • 05/02/2026 12:00-16:00

At least 16-year-old residents of Valga municipality, who according to the Estonian Population Register live in the following settlements of Valga municipality, have the right to participate in expressing their opinion:
