As of 1 January 2026, Tiit Tammaru, the current head of Valga Basic School and Valga Priimetsa School, will continue as headmaster of Valga Priimetsa School. In Valga Basic School, until the new director takes office, the collective management arrangement will be in place on an interim basis.
The day-to-day management and organisation of the school is ensured by the head teachers of Valga Basic School in cooperation with other members of the management team. The organisation of school life and teaching is governed by the legislation in force and the rules of procedure. The interim management model ensures the smooth running of the school and does not have a significant impact on the daily life of pupils and staff.
