On Friday, 28 November, the Valga Cultural Centre hosted a festive „Valga Entrepreneurial Glory 2025“ event, where the entrepreneurs of the municipality were recognised for their activities, cooperation and contribution to the development of Valga municipality. The evening offered a warm atmosphere, a sense of gratitude and lots of inspiration. The evening was hosted by Margus Vaher and danced to by the band Royal.
The aim of the award is to recognise entrepreneurs who have left a positive mark on the business environment of Valga municipality. This year, the following companies were awarded:
“Newcomer” - Rapala Eesti Aktsiaselts
The newest entrant of the year immediately raised the bar with its entrepreneurial activities. International experience, strong brand support and quality product development have quickly brought them attention from both recreational and professional anglers. Their arrival in Valka is an important step in diversifying the local business environment.
“Good Partner” - Rockiklubi OÜ
Rockiklubi OÜ is a company that knows how to connect people, ideas and experiences. Their professional team of organisers can create events that engage audiences and deliver quality. Flexibility, solution-oriented thinking and strong partnerships have made them a valued partner for many organisations and the municipality of Valga.
“Good Developer” - OÜ Müügiekspert
A company whose daily work is based on development, experimentation with new ideas and bold plans for the future. They contribute to the development of the sales sector, both regionally and on a wider scale, by providing support, training and inspiring solutions for businesses. For them, development is not an end in itself, but a natural part of their daily work.
“A stable operator” - Zacman OÜ
Zacman OÜ is an example of a company whose work is based on consistency, professionalism and stable quality. They offer design, furnishing and logistics solutions where punctuality, meeting deadlines and reliability are important to their clients. Their performance has been consistent and visible over the years.
“Smart Manufacturer” - P-Tech OÜ
A company whose workshop produces smart aluminium protection for enduro bikes and cross-cards that find their way onto international tracks. Technical precision, automated solutions and engineering are the hallmarks of their daily work. P-Tech is an example of how creativity and technical know-how can lead to global success.
“Reliable operator” - OÜ Mehka Estonia
Maintenance and repair of machinery requires precision, skill and keeping promises - all of which OÜ Mehka Estonia offers. Their thorough, honest and professional work has earned the trust of their customer base. The company is renowned for its fair attitude, adherence to deadlines and quality service.
The event was organised for the third year running. Valga municipality was supported by the Valgamaa Development Agency as a partner.
The awards were presented by the Mayor of the municipality, Monika Rogenbaum, Deputy Mayor Kaupo Kutsar, and Enterprise and Development Officer Mare Raid. Each year, the prize has been a wooden souvenir specially designed for the “Entrepreneurial Glory” by Puust OÜ. Newly elected council chairman Mati Kikkas also welcomed the event.
Valga Municipality congratulates the companies that have received the recognition and thanks all the entrepreneurs of Valga Municipality for their daily contribution to local life.
