Vitali Mašnits, the long-standing chairman of the Valga Priimetsa School Board of Trustees, will not continue his work on the Board of Trustees from this autumn, which is why he was thanked by the headmaster of the Valga Priimetsa School, Tiit Tammaru, the head of the school, Marina Krotova, and the mayor of Valga municipality, Monika Rogenbaum, at the parents' meeting on 16 September.
Vitali Mašnits' term of office as chairman of the board of trustees lasted thirteen years, including the move of the Valga Priimetsa school to the centre of Valga. The school has also begun the transition to teaching in Estonian.
Monika Rogenbaum, Mayor of Valga Municipality, thanked Vital for the honour of a long and pleasant cooperation and highlighted the biggest achievement for the school community in recent years. “The children of the Valga Priimetsa school now have a new and proud sports hall. The building of the sports hall was a promise made to the school family years ago when the school moved to the city centre. I am delighted that this promise has finally been fulfilled and that the children now have very good sporting conditions. Vitali, the chairman of the board of trustees, has played a big part in all this, as he has always been cooperative and solution-oriented, offering his help and thinking along with us,” said Monika Rogenbaum, mayor of the municipality.
Thank you, Vitali, for the work you have done and your invaluable contribution to the development of Valga Priimetsa School!
