Richard and Lembit are former boyfriends. Former colleagues. They haven't met for years. Life has inexorably passed them by. Finally, Richard goes to visit Lembit, but... the conversation refuses to move forward. There's too much tension in the air. But then, the right man doesn't throw in the towel for nothing! Fuck you! Richard and Lembit decide to rekindle their relationship by reminiscing about their shared history - reviving the days when they used to bring so much joy and excitement to the audience as actors. The play makes the heart grow fonder even for the man who has seen it all. And a game with an old comrade-in-arms can be not only therapeutic, but life-changing.
In 2016, Andrus Kivirähki's Alias premiered at the VAT Theatre, a humorous yet touching story of two former classmates (played by Merle Palmiste and Piret Rauga), whose reunion takes on a significant meaning for both of them. „Last performance!” is like a male version of „Alias” - a story of unresolved scores, joie de vivre and reconciliation.
It is also a welcome reunion for Indrek Taalmaa and Peeter Tammearu, who last shared the stage nearly 30 years ago. Kivirähki's legendary sense of humour will bring the two heavyweights of Estonian theatre together again!
