Five like-minded friends get together for an evening of unforced chats and good vibes. The name of the unborn baby becomes the guiding problem for the whole evening of being and talking. But maybe it's not just the baby's name, secrets not shared or thoughts left unsaid?
The sharp French comedy „The Name” brings together precise and intelligent humour and tense family relationships. The dialogue of a party that starts in an impatient mood takes a turn no one could have expected.
The award-winning play was written by renowned French screenwriters and film directors Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellère, who also directed the film of the same name, which premiered in France in 2012.
