Keyboard navigation
It is also possible to navigate on this website using only the keyboard. You can navigate using the Tab key. Each press moves the focus to the next item. The currently active element is indicated by a box around it. To activate a link in focus, press the Enter key on the keyboard.
The first link to become active when navigating in this way is the "Go to content" link, which is hidden from the normal user and designed specifically for keyboard navigators. "Go to content" skips the header and the focus jumps to the main content of the page.
Content enhancement and contrast
We recommend you use the browser functionality to increase the content.
In most web browsers, you can zoom in and out by holding down the Ctrl key (Cmd key in OS X) while pressing either the + or - key. Another handy option is to use the mouse: holding down the Ctrl key while moving the mouse scroll wheel. To return to normal size, press the Ctrl and 0 keys simultaneously.
The website also applies to text and colour adaptation tools for browsers.
Using the screen reader
A screen reader is a program that gives you what you see on the screen in audible form. In particular, it is an aid for the visually impaired.
Possible screen readers:
- Narrator (Microsoft Windows, available by default)
- VoiceOver (OS X, available by default)
