Applications can be made for financial support towards studying at an extracurricular school and participating in extracurricular activities, with a deadline of April 7, 2026.
The support is aimed at children and young people aged 7-19.
Valga municipality supports a young person participating in recreational education or recreational activities if the young person and at least one of his/her parents or guardians have their place of residence in Valga municipality.
Specifically, the request is aimed at:
- young people aged between 7 and 19 living outside the city of Valga who participate in recreational or leisure activities for which there are no opportunities in their home town.
- a participant in recreational or leisure activities is a young person aged 7-19 growing up in a large family, a large family is a family with four or more children aged 19 or under (inclusive).
To receive the grant, you must submit an application and a certificate signed by the supervisor attesting to the young person's attendance at the school or club.
