The subject of the tender is the removal of timber and waste wood from different parts of the Valga parish forest and stacking at the specified storage sites. The main activity is the transport of forest material for thinning and peat cutting.
Basic information about the project: the approximate volume of timber is up to 500 cubic metres and the timber is felled periodically throughout the year.
Period during which the works will be carried out: the contractor must be prepared to carry out the work all year round (depending on the weather and the amount of timber felled). The contract with the contractor will be concluded from 01.01.2026 until 31.12.2026.

Comparison and evaluation of bids:
- The Contracting Authority decides on the success of the tender after it has received the tenders from the Tenderers (including amendments, if any), has examined the documents submitted and checked the compliance of the Tenderer and the tenders with the terms and conditions submitted.
- The tender must include the price of the transport of the round log including VAT. Weighting of evaluation criterion 80 %.
- The tender must include the price of the transport of the waste timber including VAT. Weighting of evaluation criterion 15 %.
- The tender must include the hourly rate for minor works, including VAT. Smaller works are considered to be round log loads of less than 50 cubic metres and debris of less than 50 cubic metres. Weighting of criterion 5 %.
- When submitting the tender, please indicate the calculation of the distance and the price, and the hourly rate based on the table below:
- The distance shall be calculated by measuring the distance from the centre of the logging area to the centre of the corresponding storage area along the exit road.
- There is no separate payment for the ascent and descent.
- The selection of the successful tender is based on the lowest average price, calculated using the formula. t1 *0.80 + t2 *0.15 + t3 *0.05.
- After the successful tender has been selected, the Contracting Authority proposes to the successful tenderer to award the contract.
The amount of timber is calculated after the material has been stacked. The logs shall be measured in accordance with the manual „Measurement and valuation of roundwood”. A corresponding report is then drawn up and the contractor submits an interim invoice for the work carried out. The exact quantity will be known after the materials have been sold, after which the final financial transactions will be carried out.
