Dear citizen!
We invite you to take part in a survey to find out how much food waste is generated in Estonian households. The survey is carried out by LevelLab OÜ and OÜ Roheline Rada on behalf of the Ministry of Climate Change. By taking part in the food waste survey, you can find out how much food is actually wasted at home and how to reduce it.
In the first stage of the survey, you will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire. You will then have the opportunity to weigh the food waste generated in your home over a two-week period and record it in a digital or paper diary. If you wish, you will also be sent a kitchen scale. At the end of the survey, all participants will receive a personalised summary and will be entered into a prize draw.
Your contribution will help to build a science-based picture of Estonian food waste and make us all more sustainable.
