Today, on 29 October 2025, the Social Democratic Party, the electoral alliance Our Valga for and for Valga and the Estonian Centre Party signed a new coalition agreement for Valga Municipality, which will form the basis for the development and management of the municipality for the next four years.
The main objective of the coalition agreement is to run Valga municipality in an inclusive, inspiring and forward-looking way. At the heart of the agreement is the need to increase entrepreneurship and employment, strengthen education and youth work, develop the living environment and infrastructure, support communities and open governance.
Among other things, the agreement provides for:
for quality education and valuing teachers,
For the development of culture and sport in Valga and rural areas,
for a safe, green and accessible living environment,
for supporting entrepreneurship and job creation,
ensuring access to social welfare and health services,
transparent and inclusive municipal governance.
The coalition agreement was signed by:

Jüri Konrad - on behalf of the Estonian Centre Party
The agreement will remain in force until the local elections in 2029, and its objectives will be reviewed as necessary in the light of changing circumstances and opportunities.
