What needs to be done?
Prepare one or more sketches of what you would like to see on the walls of buildings in Valga or Valka.
Send your work by 1 February 2026 at the latest to the e-mail address madara.birca@valka.lv.
Ideas submitted will be reviewed and evaluated by representatives from Valga and Valka.
If one artist's sketches are selected for both city buildings, the artist will be able to create murals for both buildings.
What do we expect from you?
A clear and understandable vision of your idea;
The sketch can take different forms - hand-drawn, painted or electronic;
Estimates of the possible costs of realising the idea (materials, labour and other resources);
Willingness to get personally involved in making your idea a reality.
