Project summary:<\/strong> As a result of the project, the Buratino nursery building has been renovated to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce the energy supplied to the building and the building's maintenance costs, and bring the indoor climate of the nursery up to modern standards, including the use of a solar power plant with storage as a renewable energy source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim and outcome of the project:<\/strong> <\/strong>The aim of this project is to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce the energy supplied to the building and the building maintenance costs, bring the indoor climate of the buildings into line with the requirements and promote the use of renewable energy through the renovation of the buildings of the Buratino kindergarten, which is managed by Valga municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planned energy efficiency works:
* Replacement of the roof covering of the old part and, if necessary, reinforcement of the load-bearing structures of both parts of the roof to support the solar power plant, construction of a condensation protection system.
* Additional heating of the attics after roofing replacement, ventilation works and solar heating, construction of walkways.
* Renewal of the heating system (piping and heating coils, heat regulators), related repairs and rehabilitation works, renewal of the heat node, installation of heat exchangers, heat storage for domestic hot water with electric heating coils for the production of domestic hot water from the output of the solar power plant. Upgrading of the district heating piping to the connection point.
* Installation of building automation system, cabling of sensors and control systems, acquisition and tuning of computer and remote monitoring and control point equipment, accompanying repair and renovation works in the building.
* Replacement of luminaires, LED light sources and, if necessary, upgrades to the electrical system, accompanying repairs and refurbishment.
* Installation of solar panels (20 kW) and 20 kWh storage batteries, installation of a solar power plant on the southern rooftops, connection fees for connection to 15 kW capacity.
* Replacement of openings, solar glazed windows, repair and restoration of internal beams.
* Insulation of external walls, including insulation of foundations, repair and restoration of sheds, landscaping.
* Construction of a heat recovery ventilation system with cooling coil, installation of the necessary ducts in the rooms, repair and renovation works in the rooms and attics.
* Necessary demolition, utility work, site clearance, restoration of roofs, landscaping, special works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project budget:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible project costs (EUR): 3 177 840,00<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maximum grant amount (EUR): 2 224 488,00 (rate 70%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum amount of own contribution (EUR): 953 352,00 (min rate 30%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-financed by the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (Modernisation Fund)<\/em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
