Valga Municipality decided at its meeting on 18 September to approve grants for cultural projects submitted by 21 August 2025. A total of \u20ac8268 in cultural grants were awarded to non-profit organisations. The largest number of grants was awarded to projects in the Valga region. Grants were awarded for the organisation of the 26th edition of \u201cDance is the Future\u201d, an event promoting traditional dance culture, for the production of the children's play \u201eHow the King fell on the Moon\u201c, for the organisation of a music night organised by Carma Motoklub and for the production of the musical \u201eMamma Mia\u201c with the KunglaSenior troupe. In the T\u00f5lliste region, a grant was awarded to Filmilubi Duubel 2 for the organisation of the music festival \u201eNEOONREIV 2026\u201c. In the Karula region, a grant was awarded to organise a Christmas event and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the dance group \u201eMeie Memmed\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
