To create an outlet for young athletes or those who would like to start their own sports life. The main aim of the project is to exchange experiences between Estonian and Latvian municipalities and to promote mutual cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project activities:<\/strong> As a result of the project, study visits will be organised to exchange experiences. There will also be international tournaments in athletics, football, basketball, handball and precision shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final outcome of the project will be the acquisition of new experience and practice in organising international competitions and training. Sports professionals, coaches and trainees from Valga, Valka and Smiltene will create new contacts and experiences to promote the future of sport in the neighbouring cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project information Estonian-Latvian programme\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/estlat.eu\/en\/about-programme\/Interreg_VI-A_Estonia-Latvia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project partners:<\/strong> The lead partner is Valka Municipality Council.
