Project summary: With the support of the grant, the municipality of Valga will be able to carry out a meaningful and dynamic preparation of a special plan and the accompanying strategic environmental impact assessment to determine whether and under what conditions wind farms can be developed in Valga municipality. The planning will identify possible sites for the construction of wind farms and the infrastructure needed to serve them. A professional team will be assembled to prepare the plan, carry out the environmental impact assessment and organise the procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project objective and outcome: the aim is to reach the design and construction phase of the wind turbines in early 2026. The project will result in the adoption of a municipal specific plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
