\"Valga municipality public water supply and sewerage development plan 2025-2037\"\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the plan for the development of the public water supply and sewerage system is to provide a framework for planning and implementing the development of the public water supply and sewerage system in order to ensure the provision of high-quality drinking water and wastewater disposal for the population. According to the Law on Public Water Supply and Sewerage, public water supply and sewerage is established on the basis of a public water supply and sewerage development plan approved by the local council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the plan is to delimit the extent of the area covered by the public water supply and sewerage system, to estimate the cost of constructing and reconstructing the public water supply and sewerage systems, to indicate the points of public use and fire-fighting water abstraction and other public water supply points. The development plan consists of an introduction, a summary, a section analysing the current situation of the existing systems, a description of the investment projects and a financial analysis. The investments included in this development plan are divided into two periods: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Short-term investments 2025-2028;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Long-term investments 2029-2037. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The allocation of projects between short and long term was carried out according to their priority, based on environmental risk, potential sources of funding, the condition of the sites covered, the benefits for the local population and the natural state. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The present Valga municipality public water supply and sewerage development plan 2025-2037 was prepared in accordance with the contract No 11-23 concluded between Keskkonnalahendused O\u00dc and AS Valga Vesi on 09.04.2024. The public water supply and sewerage development plan has been approved by the Land and Space Board and the Health Board.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
