The aim of the grant for youth projects is to develop youth work and encourage youth initiative in Valga municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natural persons aged between 12 and 26 years, whose place of residence is Valga municipality, can apply for the support. Also groups, associations or non-profit organisations of young people aged 12-26 years, operating in Valga municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grant is awarded for the organisation of an event, concert, competition, meeting, campaign, workshop, information day or any other activity aimed at young people and involving at least ten young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can apply four times a year on an application form approved by the municipality. The application deadlines are 20 February, 20 May, 21 August and 20 November. If the last day for submitting an application falls on a public holiday or a weekend, the deadline is the working day following the public holiday or weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities that are not supported:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. organising class trips, class evenings or school events;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. the purchase of equipment. Exceptionally, a grant may be requested for the purchase of a specific item of common use that is needed to carry out an activity. The items purchased will remain at the disposal of the local youth centre, library or community centre after the end of the project;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. searching for and purchasing the insignia of an institution or youth association;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. organising the activities of the hobby group;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. remuneration of project organisers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The maximum grant per project is \u20ac500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
