Everyone living in Estonia has a duty to ensure that the details of their place of residence in the population register are correct. It is important that the address where a person permanently resides is entered in the population register. A person is obliged to submit his\/her details to the Population Register after moving to a new place of residence, in the event of incorrect details being found in the Population Register, or in the absence of details of his\/her place of residence. For the purpose of verifying the data, the local authority will also give the person access to the population register on request. If a person changes his\/her place of residence in Estonia, moves to a foreign country or from a foreign country to Estonia, he\/she must submit a declaration of residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NB: If you change your place of residence, you must notify the Population Register of your new address within 14 days, or within 30 days if you move abroad.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
