The establishment of a food garden is a process that takes many years and involves several stages of planning. The first stage was the decision to create an agroforestry, where a variety of cereals and vegetables are sown between the apple trees. The NGO is in the process of setting up the Kallik\u00fcla Hobby Centre. Soon, a sawmill and woodworking facilities will be ready, where everyone will be able to cut and plane their own wood into lumber. The Hobby Centre will initially have space and equipment for hobbyists. Rooms for mechanics are also being planned. Another area the NGO is working on is community youth. People with a green mindset live and work in the eco-village and their primary goal is a nature-friendly existence. The work takes into account national experiences and culture. All the work tries to be done by 'bone-steam'. This does not mean that modern tools and technologies cannot be used. People move around the village on foot, bicycle, boat, skis or horse. Modern means of communication are used. The energy needed to power them must be provided by alternative means such as solar, wind, water or other.
