The Valga Municipal Council approved at its meeting on 27 April 2022 the Regulation \"Terms and conditions for support to cultural activities and community development and the procedure for the award of grants\"<\/a> <\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Regulation established the procedure for applying for, processing, granting, refusing to grant and supervising the use of support from the budget of Valga municipality to non-profit organisations engaged in cultural work and community development in Valga municipality. The aim of the Regulation is to ensure the continuity of cultural and community development activities in Valga municipality and to support non-profit organisations involved in cultural and community development activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The grant is divided into a project grant and an operating grant, as well as a grant to support the self-financing of projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Regulation also provides for the application for and the allocation of co-financing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The processing time for applications is up to 30 working days from the deadline for submission. The application procedure starts with the registration of the application submitted in the call for proposals and ends with the decision of the municipality to accept or reject the application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications for operating grants for non-profit organisations involved in community development are reviewed and project grants evaluated by a community committee set up by the municipality. Applications for operating grants from non-profit-making associations active in the field of culture are examined and project grants evaluated by a committee for the award of cultural grants set up by the municipality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
